The Solar Plexus: Your 'I Can' Center

Solar Plexus, Sun Energy, & Attitude Of Mind – Week 3

The Solar Plexus: Your 'I Can' Center

The Solar Plexus: Your ‘I Can’ Center

I am encouraged to begin this post with Part 3.5, 3.6, 3.17 & 3.18 of the Master Key:

3.5 The Solar Plexus has been likened to the sun of the body, because it is a central point of distribution for the energy which the body is constantly generating.  This energy is very real energy, and this sun is a very real sun, and the energy is being distributed by very real nerves to all parts of the body, and is thrown off in an atmosphere which envelopes the body.

3.6 If this radiation is sufficiently strong the person is called magnetic; he [she] is said to be filled with personal magnetism. Such a person may wield an immense power for good.  His [Her] presence alone will often bring comfort to the troubled minds with which he [she] comes in contact.

3.17 It is our attitude of the mind toward life which determines the experience with which we are to meet; if we expect nothing, we shall have nothing; if we demand much, we shall receive greater portion.  The world is harsh only as we fail to assert ourselves.  The criticism of the world is bitter only to those who cannot compel room in their ideas.  It is fear of this criticism that causes many ideas to fail to see the light of day.

3.18 But the man [woman] who knows that he [she] has a Solar Plexus will not fear criticism of anything else; he [she] will be too busy radiating courage, confidence, and power; he [she] will anticipate success by his [her] mental attitude; he [she] will pound barriers to pieces, and leap over the chasm of doubt and hesitation which fear places in his [her] path.

In summary, I have reconnected with my solar plexus!  In the past I have referred to it as my ‘ET Heart Light’.  It’s bright, gentle, soothing, nurturing, joyful, powerful, and loving!  It makes me wonder if it is the attitude of the mind or the solar plexus which comes first? Well, it is the relationship between the conscious and subconscious mind, the solar plexus and the sympathetic system which makes this so.  The conscious, disciplined practice of connecting the two makes ‘I CAN’ possible.

A Beautiful Blue Sky For Blue Me

Understanding My Blue and Starting Anew – Week 1

As I begin my second experience of the Master Key System, I realize I have been fighting my Blueprint – My Current Self – for the the Self I Am Committed to Becoming.  What’s different?  In my first experience last year, I jumped into taking action and being consistent with all that we were asked to do.  This time, I am spending more time understanding the relationships between what we are doing and it got a little deep.  I realized that some of the choices I made last year were made for someone else.  Not Me.

The ‘work of becoming’, ‘creating who I want to be’, is no easy task.  In the first paragraph I reference, ‘Understanding My Blue’, and I probably should explain what that means.  As part of my participation in the Master Key Mastermind Alliance, I, as all participants were asked to complete the Color Code Assessment.  I completed it as I did last year, yet this year I purchased the 38 page report.  This report helps you understand yourself and your relationship with others to leverage this understanding to benefit yourself and others.  It was an eye opener to read this report about me and my relationships with others.  And, it was REALLY accurate.

In Part One of the Master Key System, Charles Haanel shares the following:

1:32 All power is from within, and is absolutely under your control; it comes through exact knowledge and by voluntary exercises of exact principles.

1:36 This system will bring you into a realization of power which will be yours when you understand this relation between the world without and the world within.  The world within is the cause, the world without the effect; to change the effect you must change the cause.

1:38 All growth is from within.  This is evident in all nature. Every plant, every animal, every human is a living testimony to this great law, and the error of the ages is in looking for strength or power from without.

Reading the Color Code Report gave me more insight to myself and my relationships with others.  It was and is quite empowering to have such insight which is contributing to my growth.  Knowing more about me means having more understanding and choice of ‘the cause’ and ‘the effect’.  What an enlightening way to start this session!

Knowledge is Power. . . But Enthusiasm Pulls The Switch

Enthusiasm As A Virtue – The Real Week 20

I begin this post reminding myself that my Personal Pivotal Needs are Spiritual Growth and Helping Others.  Why the reminder you ask?  Again I allowed the dog gone river of life to swallow me up!!!  It was a Phenomenal Week!  What I thought about I brought about.  The laws I have been studying were realized; materialized.  Then life distractions ‘creeped’  in . . . again.  The good news is that getting back on track happens faster.  The challenging news is that I KNOW that the derailments take me away from my personal pivotal needs.  Those needs that are at my core and not about me.  They are all about my purpose of being.

Life does give back in kind.

Life does give back in kind.

20.27 Thought is creative vibration and the quality of the conditions created will depend upon the quality of thought, because we cannot express powers we do not possess.  We must “be” before we can “do” and we can “do” only to the extent to which we “are”, and so what we do will necessarily coincide with what we “are” and what we are depends upon what we “think”.

And then the distraction happened . . .

20.28 . . . but the immutable law will not allow you to plant a thought of one kind and reap the fruit of another.  You are free to use this marvelous creative power as you will, but you must take the consequences.  Yep, I’m back on TRACK!!!

Believe . . .

Taking the Initiative . . . Finally Week 19

18.27  Thought is the energy which the law of attraction is brought into operation, which eventually manifest in abundance.

This week (I know – two weeks ago 🙁 ) blew me away!  In concert with the Franklin Makeover, I focused on taking the initiative all week.  It was fun, effortless and engaging all week!  At no time did I experience fear, uncertainty or reservation.  And Lord knows (he truly does in My World), No Procrastination!!!  Abundance Abounds!!!  Energy Attracts More Energy; And I Love It!!!

Franklin Makeover: Courage – Week 17 Delayed Post

‘Thought is the property of those only who can entertain it.’

Ralph Waldo Emerson

Courage. Yes Courage.  This was the virtue I decide to focus on last week.  And what a courageous week it was!  I had made up my mind (ha! ha!), that I was to have the courage to do those things I wanted to do. Those things that I needed to do, yet seemed to fall by the wayside or are addressed at the end of the day when I am nodding off.  To my surprise, the Courage applied this week was in an area that I never considered.  As I have mentioned, my Personal, Pivotal Needs are Spiritual Growth and Helping Others.  One of many lessons learned in the Master Key is that you cannot give what you do not have.  Seems pretty straight forward right?  During my week the realization of this became quite profound.  I have always been, yes, past tense, the care taker.  A role given, selected, who know’s, since I was 9 year’s old.  As I move toward my being, my future self, it occurred to me that I could not truly help others in this role or posture.  Truly helping people is not taking care of them.  So taking care of people was something I needed to have the courage to let go of in order to truly help people.  As I become more, I can give more and help more.  In the past I had sacrificed myself in order to take care of another.  I realized the empowerment of helping others was truly something that could also help me.  No personal sacrifice was necessary.  All of a sudden helping others was no longer hard.  And I recognized so many other people helping others as well.  It was effortless!  Little did I know that my care taking posture was an obstacle to my growth.  I found greater energy and greater courage in both my higher, and yes my lower self (I still venture there on occasion).  I realized I was in control and had greater courage and greater faith which produced greater courage.

Master Key Lesson 17.26 reads as follows:

Every obstacle conquered, every victory gained, will give you more faith in your power, and you will have greater ability to win.  Your strength is determined by your mental attitude; if this attitude is one of success, and is permanently held with an unswerving purpose, you will attract to you from the invisible domain the things you silently demand.

As you will read in my next post, I chose Decisiveness as my next virtue of the Franklin Makeover.  Ain’t no stopping me now!!!
